The Hall of State at the Royal Palace is home to one of the most poignant objects in Swedish history: Queen Kristina's silver throne. The controversial queen, who had the most expensive coronation in Swedish history, ended her reign with a scandal.
The guided tour of the Royal Apartments will take approximately 45 minutes. After the guided tour, you are free to explore the palace by yourself. The palace also houses museums steeped in royal history, such as the Treasury and Gustav III's Museum of Antiquities.
