Almarna
Almarna (the elms) flossa rug was designed by Måås-Fjetterström in 1930 for the Stockholm Exhibition.
Tall elms blossomed every spring in the garden outside Måås-Fjetterström’s studio window, where she sat three floors above the pounding looms in the workshop. The glittering blue waters of the Kattegat could be seen through the airy crowns of the elms.
